My Erotic Evolution
Hello, I am Azari Thompson founder of Numinous Bloom.
I am a Contemporary Artist, Pleasure Activist, and Sex, Love & Relationship Coach devoted to the erotic evolution.
In 2012, I stood at a crossroads — riddled with depression, anxiety, and fear.
Beneath it all lay unhealed trauma and the burden of growing up in a sex-negative culture. I tried to numb the ache with drugs, alcohol, and self-destruction… but somewhere inside, my heart kept whispering, there must be more.
That whisper became a roar — leading me on a decade-long pilgrimage through creativity, spirituality, and sexuality, the sacred trinity that reawakened me to love. What began as a quest to survive became a devotion to aliveness — to reclaiming the pleasure, power, and presence that live inside every one of us.
My path as an artist began at Sydney College of the Arts, where I studied painting and explored art as a language of healing and transcendence. Over the years, I’ve shared sound healing journeys with my husband, Zane Thompson, across Sydney’s most beloved yoga studios and wellness spaces. I’m also an accredited Kundalini Yoga teacher, and have facilitated workshops, retreats, and festivals that bridge art, embodiment, and transformation.

Now, as I deepen my studies to become an accredited VITA™ Sex, Love & Relationship Coach, my work continues to evolve — fusing creative expression with coaching and somatic practice to guide others through their own erotic evolution.
In 2021, birthing my son at home cracked me open even deeper. It was a holy initiation into feminine power, primal, divine, and creative beyond words. Now, as a mother and wife, I live what I teach: a marriage rooted in truth, devotion, and pleasure as a daily practice.
Our home hums with harmony, of which I am truly proud of cultivating.
Everything I create from art to coaching to community experiences is born from this knowing:
We are the erotic pulse of creation itself.
I offer what I’ve lived, loved, and learned to guide others home to their bodies, to their truth, and to the numinous blooming within.
Because when we return to pleasure, we return to power.
And creation evolves through us.
